MP3 Player and XP

Looking on page 1 of the MP3 Player manual it says that the player is not compatible with Win95 (not a problem) or Windows XP (BIG PROBLEM). Have any of the Beta testers or anyone lucky enough to have already gotten a phone, please confirm this information.

Again I am asking about the Player not the Maker software.

This was discussed on another board... turns out it's fully compatible with XP, it's just a typo in the manual.

However, there might be an issue with Macintosh machines.. not yet clear.

Anyone using Win95 with the 7135? (I know I *SHOULD* upgrade, but I just haven't yet).

I do have pseudo-USB ports (late version of Win95), but they don't work with many devices (I have gotten a webcam and a CF reader with win95 drivers to run).

The 7135 comes with both USB and serial port connectors though, right?

Any problems with win95? The post above says the MP3 player part isn't compatible -- but if I just loaded MP3s onto the SD (assuming I can find a win95 SD reader), why would it matter?

Thanks!

Chris

i really think its time to upgrade, you spent 700 + on a phone go out and buy a $500 emachine and your life will be a lot simpler

tmonkey -- thanks for the advice. I will consider it.

In the meantime, could someone with a 7135 manual let me know if I would be able to connect to my current win95 system?
