You should be 10% smarter than the equipment you operate. For some of you, the 7135 is not the best choice of equipment.

Now that I see some users have "Entered the promised land," I want to create a place for people can go and say what they think of the phone and the features or lack thereof and to post any pictures. So I will start




Here are some of the things that I like about the phone:

* The external speaker is FABULOUS!!!!!! I can play an mp3 and everyone in the room hear it perfectly. The volume and the acustic range is GREAT
* The screen is the brightest screen I have seen. I have the brightness turned to about 1/4 because at night it can be blinding. Even at 1/4 it is bright for everyday use.
*Comes with a built in file manager for copying files back and forth to the memory card.
*Last but not least #1 in my book is the fact that when you dial an address from your contact list and then want to dial that other contacts other number, you can go right back to the entry and try the other number.

Well I love mine... As you can see... I have 2 64 meg cards one has mp3s on it and one has my backup and more apps and mp3s.

The web page on the phone looks sweet! Is that the EIS Browser? What mode? Actual? PDA? I was doin' a little reading in the browser pdf on Kyo's website and saw all the nifty things the EIS browser can do.

How am I supposed to get work done today ?

Reducing the backlight like Jimmy did is key to controlling the battery consumption. I think you will find that even Jimmy has noticed a vast differnece in battery life between the 6035 and the 7135. BUt it's not a bad thing, but rather a great trade off.

I've lurked on this board for quite some time. I heard about the Alltel release and called my corporate rep. She made some phone calls and verified "my sources".

I picked up my brand spankin' shiny new 7135 Yesterday! 2 year contract $499 (if I remember correctly).

So far boys and girls, this is a sweet improvement!!
