7100 series listed under phones at k-w.com!!!!
The phone is listed under 7100 series at the kyocera web site!!!! They have the pages from that other web site we found, the same demo, etc.
You you go to the store, and it's there. They list availability for different carriers.
WhooHoo!!!! I'd call that available!!!

Kyocera at last
As of today, 12-18-2002, Kyocera has changed it's website. The 7135 is no longer under the coming soon link. it not says all major carriers will have the phone in 6 weeks.
About damn time.

Already posted as of 12:39am this morning. But thanks for the thought.
But I can understand why you didn't see it, as for some reason this morning our posts about it were all moved to the Australian thread. I don't understand why.
But yes, VERY good news indeed!

Not a problem at all. Welcome to the family, we're glad to have you here. Stick around, things seem to be finally all coming into place.

Thats it, I can't wait any longer!!!
I'm going to purchase a Treo300 on Sprint today! I just can not wait any longer.
NOT!!
The energy in the past 12 hours in this place (or in my head) has been fun fun fun.
I hope that I am wrong, but...
...who wants to bet that the 7135 is NOT launched before Jan 30th, 2003 on Verizon?:argue
I'm hoping to have the 7135 in my hands by my birthday (see calendar).

The demo of the phone on the Kyo website is cool.
I wish there was a way to have this new toy for Christmas.

It's nice that the website has changed. BUT - where is the notice that I signed up with Kyo to receive when it is out?

WHAT? Yay for you!
Two questions: keypad backlit and how fast is the syncing on the usb-serial cradle on the usb portion?
I'd ask HotSynC, again, but I want to hear it from a REAL owner.

I'm so jealous of you. I hear the screen size is the same, is that true?

An understated but HISTORICAL message! And thus the fun finally begins! Give this man a prize! No wait, he's already GOT his prize!

Wait a minute - if you just bought yours, doesn't it have to charge overnight before you can use it? How can you stand it?

Wow! What exciting news. Someone actually purchased one!!! Shaneyfelt should get some sort of prize for being the first post on the forum from an individual who actually purchased a 7135.
My first question...how much did it cost?

Has anyone who finally has a 7135 tried to use the Infrared port to perform a Hotzync rather than the USB cradle?
I travel extensively and currently use the Infrared option to perform hotsyncs between my Palm and laptop while on the road and would hate to have to lug around the cradle in my carryon.
