What a great deal. But it's only for a limited time, it expires on Oct. 31st.
What's interesting is that they changed the dates on those rebate pdf forms. Last week when I looked at the forms (both from the ecost link and the buy.com link) they were valid until 11/21; now they're valid until 10/21. I should have printed the forms last week!
My digisette MP3 player uses 64mb or smaller MMC cards - a shame I can't use these 256mb SD with it. The digisette is how we listen to MP3 in my wife's car tape player...

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to get the fast Cruzer plus 256MB SD card from Buy.com for $144.78 total? Or did you need the 6-in-1 reader for your other card formats?

I think they might be referring to the stand-alone card, however I could be wrong- which would make it a very good deal. (If you look at some of the other rebates on the manufacturer's site, you'll see that they have a separate rebate for the imagemate dual reader and the cruzer). think i'll call in on monday to confirm
I wanted the 6-in-1 reader. I have CF for my digital camera, and at various times I've had gadgets (cameras, pdas, mp3 players) that have also used memory stick and smartmedia. I paid a bit more for the flexibility, and still at a good price.
If you don't need all these formats, the SD only or the SD/CF combo will save you a bit.
I have a Memorex 6-in-1. But I've only used CF and SM on it, but the need of the Kyocera's SD alone is enough to earn it's keep, plus my friend's with Memory Sticks. If you already have ONE reader and are thinking about buying another to add a format, just indulge for the $60 to get it.
I lost my flipping cruzer already!!! SO I used the $10 off link above and got it from buy.com for $127.00 -- when I get it I will send in for the $30 rebate and see if I can bring it down some more. Anybody else get thier $30 rebate back yet?
