Welcome aboard! - I'm curious as to what you've heard so far - aside from the release date I mean - we've heard so many different tidbits of information from all over and any insight would be nice to know Have you had any training on it? any price rumors?

Hi,
I am an extraterrestial :alieneyes and have traveled in time so that I have the latest information on the details and release date for the 7135. It will be released simultaneously by all wireless companies in the galaxy on stardate 32456.23 at precisely 46:13:45 est (extraterrestrial standard time).
In addition to the features that have been mentioned on this archaic web-site, the 7135 will also provide transporter and time travel capabilities. Transporter capabilities will be limited to your home planet and time travel will be limited to 4 eons. This information is at least as real and reliable as that in the quote.
Please do not try to contact me as I am off to another dimension and don't know if or when I will be back in this solar system.
I also work for Verizon as a sales rep and have had some brief training with the 7135.......as mentioned several times here the latest that I've heard is as follows
Initially scheduled for a mid November release and has since been pushed up to late October. Still some quirks in the operation(which I believe is what spawned some of the rumors about having to what for Christmas or even 2003) of the unit but apparently things that can be ironed out post release.......so the first batch that is sold may have some issues that will need to be addressed via software flashes or some other kind of update. If hear or can confirm anything concrete I will be sure to let you know.

Unfortunately, our alien friend has been adversely affected by the nitrogen content of our atmosphere. It has left him in a hallucinogenic state where he believes not only that he knows the release date of the 7135, but also that the sky is red, Tony Bennet is a hard rock star, and that Elvis is actually dead. His perceptions are therefore significantly skewed.
The fact of the matter is that Kyocera is attempting to release the Kyo7135 simultaneously in multiple dimensions, and this is causing significant disruption in the space-time-continuum. The actual release date has fallen victim to the Uncertainty Principle due to Kyo's use of quantum wormholes. The best we can say is that it will happen in this dimension prior to the discovery that Jimmy Hoffa is in fact alive and well and playing the part of Big Bird on Sesame Street.
In the meantime, I have dispatched my Giant Robot (patend pending) to pick up our ailing alien amigo. We should have him back on his own world, in his own dimension soon... unless the "take-over-the-world-chip" is tripped again...

As many of you are prone to say - Cheers :drink1
Zorak :biglaughb
Do not believe my father - he somehow escaped the funny farm and got access to a computer.
Well, for what it's worth, I will be able to find out one week prior to the device going on sale. And you too, space cadet, will be able to be there with check book in hand to get your three fingers on one of these long anticipated space travel PDA's.

rpander,
Is there any other info you can get for us, being on the inside and all? Pricing, an exact release date, etc.?
I will contact our Kyocera rep today and see what I can find out. As far as pricing goes, that usually remains a mystery until a day or two before the device goes on sale. I will keep you guys in the loop though. Stay tuned...
By the way, let me settle this once and for all. VZW is the undisputed heavyweight of the wireless industry!! Our network wil absolutely run circles around Sprint, Cingular, AT&T. Nextel who?!

Go VZW!!
yes, we know how great each wireless company is- ok... but if you happen to contact your Kyo rep, would you mind also asking him/her for any 411 on Sprint's release date, etc as well? mucho apreciones..or however you say that
I'm in Orange County as well! Consider me your first customer. Already cancelled my old service and am ready for a new contract (with the sign up discount of course)
BTW for everyone else, been lurking on this board for months and it is great. I always enjoyed Markito's posts until I saw the Twins logo... Booooooooooooo Nice win in the first game but.... Let's hope it's the last! Angels! Angels! Angels! (Everybody!)
Also, if you break the factual news to this board, I think that deserves a shameless plug or two!!!

I'm gonna have comment again... OC IN THU HOUSE, BABY! I'm hoping I get my phone in time to be able to go anywhere and log on to find the Angels beating the kaka outta the Twins (not that i can't do that on my i300 now, but....it would be nicer....)
I've hit this place several times a day for months and have been tempted many times to log on and post... Just couldn't contain myself anymore. Now that I'm official, maybe I'll throw in my 2 cents a little more often.

Zorak
And we'll probably have to buy an SD card to access those "standard" features.:anger
I say we all go back to rotary teleporters!
:rofl
PS: rp - you just became the first person on my "buddy list" :angel

Go VZW!!
Oh God...here we go again. We appreciate your candid, unbiased pre-release information about the 7135, but please rpander...we can do without your taking on the role of "Verizon cheerleader"...
I'm new here, but very helpful board. I just called Kyocera (after trying to get info from VZW) and was told that release date is "November/December." I asked if this meant late November, and was told, "No, it could be in three weeks. But we've been told to let people know November/December, so to speculate beyond that wouldn't be appropriate."
I was going to get a Treo 300 through Sprint, but now I'm gonna have to choice but to wait. Damn, this is killin' me!
