We had that that post to another website that eventually broke the link. I tried downloading the file, but was unable to get a working program that work capture streaming video.
Glad you found it again. I'll find that other post I did and fix the link as well.
"However, the 7135's expansion card slot does not support SDIO (Secure Digital Input/Output), which is required for peripherals such as Toshiba America Inc.'s Bluetooth SD card."
I thought the 7135 DID support SDIO. That'll put the kibosh on the camera card, bluetooth card etc.
Of course the author also said "The 7135 runs Palm OS 4.1, for which a large variety of applications is available. While Palm OS 5 has begun shipping on devices from Sony Corp. and Palm Inc., it's not certain that Palm OS 5 will displace Palm OS 3.x or 4.x during the 7135's lifetime, if it does at all"
The 7135 cannot ever run OS5. The author should have known that.
Have any of you lucky beta testers tried any SDIO cards in your 7135s?
yeah....it's kinda funny how we are seeing more and more articles, but regardless, these and their likes make me wary as to how much I can actually believe based on simple mistakes as these.
I, too, would like to know if any tests have been made on SDIO cards, pleeeeease!

He didn't mean that the 7135 will be able to run OS 5, he meant that because it runs OS 4.1, lots of apps are available. And, because OS 5 may never displace OS 4.1 in the general market (i.e. what developers target), the 7135 will continue to run most new apps developed for Palms.
Sorry if someone has posted this before. The 7135 tops the list among other phones supposed to be released in Nov 2002. The article was updated 10/31/02.

Kyocera has not yet announced its carrier relationships for the 7135, but Sprint Corp. currently markets the 6035, and it's likely to offer the 7135 as well.
