From the review: "However, the 7135's expansion card slot does not support SDIO (Secure Digital Input/Output), which is required for peripherals such as Toshiba America Inc.'s Bluetooth SD card."
I thought the 7135 did support SDIO?? Maybe its just a mistake on the reviewer's part?

It was confirmed in another thread that it was a mistake.

Anonymous post? It was confirmed by HoTSynC, a well respected member and beta tester! That's good enough for me

Hi,
In your article on the Nov. 4 issue of Eweek tittled "Smart Phone Doesn't Hang Up PDA Features", were you review the Kyocera 7135 article, you state that the SD/MMC slot on the phone does not support SDIO cards such as Toshiba's Bluetooth card, which is an incorrect statement, since it does support SDIO, as verified on beta test units. Just a friendly note to correct that remark, as I see that this was the only negative remark you had about the phone. Great review.
According to the latest issue of eWeek, "KYOCERA DEVICE COMBINES BEST OF PALM OS HANDHELD, WIRELESS CDMA HANDSET BUT DOESN'T SUPPORT SDIO". Say it isn's so!

Gary Walborn
ok.... It isn't so!
We've covered this in other threads and confirmed that the article is incorrect.
Welcome to the board! :drink1

The "Stuff" magazine for this month has a piece in it about the 7135. The bad news is it is listed at 600.00. I hope this is the no carrier price. It is a good rip on the comedian Chevy Chase.
