Hu? The 7135 is compatible with 1xRTT networks, which offer theoretical speeds of up to 144kbps (although 50-70kbps is more realistic). I'm pretty sure both Sprint and Verizon have their 1xRTT networks up in NYC so if that's what you are asking, the 7135 will be able to operate in NYC on those networks, but that's hardly "broadband" (more like a standard dialup connection). However, with the 7135 supporting SDIO cards, it MAY be possible to place a yet to be released WiFi (802.11b) SDIO card into the 7135's SD slot and connect to any one of the wireless access hubs in NYC. The site www.nycwireless.com has a listing of hubs and their locations in NYC where you can wirelessly connect to the internet using 802.11b for free.
