It appears that the release date for the 7135 may be very close for Verizon. This pdf displaying the packaging now shows the verizon logo on the packaging itself as well as on the phone

Perhaps it's a hopeful sign the release is emminent. I hope so. The skeptic inside of me is also wondering if some Kyocera fanatic, in hopes of raising expectations, didn't add the Verizon logo with picture editing software. It wouldn't have been all that difficult to do. I sincerely hope it is the former
i have seen a model with the verixon logo on it a couple of months ago... i would not be surprised if verizon released it first in november and sprint perhaps a month later.. thats what happened with the 6035...
I can feel the release date coming right around the corner. Before you know it November will be here and we'll all be in a tizzie waiting for the big day! Waiting a month for Sprint wouldn't bother me too much.... but when I meet with our new Verizon rep I'm going to be able to get a better feel for whether or not Verizon would be a good choice for me. The 15% corporate discount definitely gives me incentive to strongly consider them
I just don't know if I really will be able to wait for the 7135....

What if we printed out the pdf, cut along the lines, fold it into the resulting box, take it to our local Verizon store, and say "I bought this Verizon phone, but it's missing the phone." Perhaps that would yeild the same result as one Star Trek episode where Spock defeats the clone babe robots by saying that he loves one, but hates another. "That's illogical, we are the same", says the babe-bot. "Which is precisely why I hate one, but love the other", Spock replies. "ILLOGICAL, ILLOGICAL, PLEASE EXPLAIN", then the babe-bots effectively shut down their server with something like a denial of service attack. Perhaps a dutifull Verizon employee would take the empty box, and return with one that has a phone in it. Longshot, but it could work, no?

Though if we had Harry Mudd with us...might help even more. Oh remember them killing Scotty with their finger "phasers" and playing baseball with plastic explosives? I am so glad I get home in time to get my Star Trek fix, and not TNG either, all the wimps in the original one usually got a kick in the butt from Kirk, not made "Number One"!!
