Well, ever since I got this Vista laptop, I am not able to sync my 7135 to the PC. I installed the Palm desktop, the modem drivers, checked my settings on the 7135, but to no avail. I am using the mobile sync cable, have it hooked up to power, and the USB connected, made sure that COM 3 was open, but no go. Phone keeps saying the connection to the PC is not working. It is possible to do this through the modem in the phone, and to call my PC? I tried using the SD card in the phone to move the files to the Palm desktop, but I can't get that to work either. Any Ideas? Thanks

just guessing here cause I don't personally have a vista laptop, but does the usb work on another port? did you try the cradle? does the modem/fax program work?

You can't sync by calling per se, but check out http://wirelesssync.vzw.com--you can sync email, calendar, contact, etc. from phone to their server, and then their server to your PC. It should be fine with vista. Just be careful, cause at first when I used it, somehow I made duplicates in outlook, etc. but it worked well for a while. syncing from 7135 can be slow at times, but should be fine--make sure you have data plan...or you will be billed by the kilobye...
