I have both.

The problem with both is the distance away from your hip. I bought a different belk clip, but they still hang farther away than the holster.

The Pouch : Being on the clip, I always tend to want to unclip it instead of opening the pouch. Opening the pouch is easy. Getting the phone back in requires me to "look" at the pouch in most cases. I don't have to look at the holster while returning the phone. The pouch does offer good protection.

The Flip Case : I've tried to like this case. It still seems to hand too far from my waist. I've had the phone spin around and actually open while cliped. You also have to remove the case to sync in the cradle. Offers good protection and covers up that pesky Verizon logo. Can remove and return the phone without "looking" at the clip.

Holster: Still my favorite. My phone is getting some scuffs on it from the constant removal/replacement in the holster. Offers very little protection. Is very easy to remove/replace the phone.

If you could combine the clip that is on the holster onto the Pouch, that would be my perfect case.

Thanks

I did see the pouch at the store and thought exactly the same thing about it seeming to hang inches away from your hip and it seems to make the phone look HUGE. The thing I don't like about the holster though is that you can't easily take it completely off say as you're getting in your car etc. That's why I was thinking about the pouch I could just take it off the clip and lay it beside me in the car or if I'm at someone's house etc. I've seen a couple people talk about the nut shell case. I wonder if that's any better as far as size goes? Also I wonder if the external ID screen is still visible in that 3rd party pouch?

This is the only case you need! And there are several ways of customizing it when you order.

Best case EVER!
