The Voice Memo feature allows you to save, play back and append voice recordings. You cannot beam a Voice Memo. The storage limit of the Voice Memo feature is up to a 10 minute maximum, as long as there is sufficient memory available. Each Voice Memo can be a maximum of two minutes in length.
The following procedure assumes that you are beginning from the All pick list in the Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) applications screen. <ol><li>Using the stylus, scroll to and tap to select Memos. </li>
<li>Tap the Voice Memo icon. </li>
<li>Tap the Record icon. You will hear a "record after the tone" audio message followed by a beep.</li>
<li>After you hear a beep, speak your Voice Memo into the handset microphone. </li>
<li>When you have completed your Voice Memo, tap the Stop icon. Details about the new Voice Memo displays. If preferred, you can now edit the memo title. </li>
<li>If you would like to categorize the new Voice Memo, tap Details; otherwise, proceed to Step 10. </li>
<li>From the Memo Details dialog box, use the Category pick list to tap to choose the preferred Voice Memo Category to which this memo is to be included. </li>
<li>Tap to select Private if you wish to flag the new Voice Memo as Private.</li>
<li>From the Private Records dialog box, tap OK. You will not see the Private Records dialog box if you have already configured the Security settings to hide or mask all Private records. </li>
<li>To play back the new Voice Memo, tap the Play icon. The Volume Up and Down buttons will adjust the volume of a memo being played. </li>
<li>Tap Done. You may tap the Application Launcher icon when finished to return to the PDA applications screen.</li>
