Can I use the 7135 with a non-CDMA carrier (GSM/GPRS)?

If you do not have service with carriers such as Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, currently there is not an option for you. The 7135 smartphone is designed for use on CDMA/Analog networks operating in the 800 and 1900MHz frequency bands. The 7135 smartphone currently does not have a TDMA or GSM version (AT&T, Cingular, T-Mobile)
