You go GeekDaddy. My wife has a Motorola T720 and I setup the above for her since we don't pay for Mobile Web but on my 6035 I just use PQA's to accomplish the same thing.
I just performed this procedure on my 7135 using the free WAP tunnel and chose www.google.com/wml as my homepage and it worked! Saves me the $6.99 verizon charge for mobile web. Probably use Eurdora, or EIS more often though-- its kinda boring with text only.
If you enter the IP address of the WAPTunnel Server into your WAP browser settings You can use the 7135's "Browser" app without having to pay 6.99 for Verizon Mobile Web.
It just gives you a text-only Dumb-phone style browser if all you want is quick and simple text. I usually use the "Web" or Eurdora web apps normally but I hate having an app that doesn't work thats sitting on my phone.

I do have a VZ phone and it is in there, However I didn't add Mobile web to my account so I can't access it to test it. I assume that it would if I paid for it. I left it in Up.Link A and added the WAPTUNNEL t UP.Link B.

Verizon WAP server:
199.74.153.210 Port 9203
WAPTUNNEL:
207.232.99.109 Port 9200
Thanks for the info, Steve. The only problem is that I can't seem to find the place where you edit the WAP browser UP.Link IP address and port on a 7135. The closest thing I have found is from within the WAP browser to tap on the Browser Setup icon (wrench w/doc) and tap 4 UP.Link. This dialog lets you select which UP.Link to use, A or B, but it does not let you edit the IP address and port. What am I missing????
from the phone screen put in 111111 (6 1's) then scroll down to options, then to "Wap Browser setup"
Put in the IP and port.
then OK
Then go into the WAP browser, connect and type in your web site that has a WAP Tunnel. Yahoo's = wap.yahoo.com (I think)

Thanks, Drew - getting closer.... After following your instructions for entering the WAPTUNNEL IP and port in UP.Link B, when opening the WAP browser, I get a short "Connecting" message, a long "Sending" message (maybe 15 seconds), and then "Data server not available". I must still be missing something. Any more ideas?
