I don't see why this couldn't be used with with the Kyocera $50 rebate in Handheld Computing mag (issue 4.5).

$179.99 - 90 - 50 = $39.99.

I imagine the $90 from Sprint is only good for new service and is instead of the usual $30 for signing up for a new plan.
