If you plan on upgrading you will be happy (K-Jam/Jasjar)
Good news for those of you who will upgrade to a Jasjar or K-Jam.
With Jam it took forever to figure out how to get my Ipaq BT GPS Navigation System to work and I never was able to get the Jam to synch thru BT with my laptop. Also with T-Mobile and my Jam and PDA2K I constantly had problems where I would have to turn on flight mode and off again several times a day becuase once the system when to sleep mode I couldnt establish a gprs connection again.
With Jasjar (I assume K-Jam will be the same) :
I was able to bond with my GPS the first time without any problem. You can easily and flawlessly select what type of bond you want (handsfree or serial port) and easily set up the COM port.
I set up the BT Active Synch on the first try and it works perfectly.
I have not had to once turn on flight mode and turn it back off to use gprs. Two days now and whenever I want to go to internet or check mail I can.
(If you read my Jam2 post you will say "what he didnt like the K-Jam because it was too big compared to the Jam and claimed he didnt want a keyboard", but hey Im nuts I bought a Jasjar. I had my eye on this for over a year (since it was first mentioned). I actually love it, fully loaded. I really love being able to talk on the phone without opening the unit and not having to clean off the screen several times a day. The speakers are great. Screen is amazing.)
Tremendous job HTC - Microsoft - Imate!
