Here is my problem: all my contacts have country and area code, but the cell operator here (Brazil) doesn't allow to dial +55 11 xxxx-xxxx.
I have tried all to following below:
- setting my location to Brazil (55) and SP(11) (options in contacts)
- regional setting do BRazil
- settings-> connections -> advanced -> dialing rules and setting dialing patterns in different ways (e.g. only G in all fields)
I also have tried, after a hard boot, to set some contacts as I were in the US (+1) and some area code, and even though it kept trying to call with country and area code before the number.
In summary, the JAM cannot take out the country and area code from the contacts before dialing.
I'm almost using a program to re-edit all my 1.400 contacts. Is there anyone that can help me?
I am in São Paulo as well and I just got a Jasjar with the exactly same problem you mention. The Dialing rules just do not work. It is as if they and the dialing patterns did not exist. Did you get a solution to it? Obrigado
