I can't seem to play any videos recorded from my AT&T Tilt on my laptop. I keep getting the error message "Error -2041: an invalid sample description was found in the movie (filename.mp4)".

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing this?

Which movie player are you trying to play them with? I use VLC and it plays pretty much anything I can throw at it.

From the AT&T forums, I found that simply changing the filename from *.mp4 to *.3gp and all will work. This is stupid, but it does work.
