Is there quick way to get access to text message entry? Either via menu or message key on my Tilt takes me first to the "select an account" screen where I can choose which TYPE of message I want to generate (Txt, email and which account), then I select "message" it takes me to my Inbox for my Txt Messages. Then I have to select Menu | New | Text Message just to get to the entry and address screen.

so is there a short cut to get to that entry screen via my Message key or linked to my "quick launch" buttons on my HTC Launcher Screen?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. It just seems to many menus and buttons just to enter a txt message.

You can disable the option where you are prompted for the type of message/account you want and then by default you will go to whichever account you opened last. If the text is going to somebody in your contact list you could go to that person and chose to send a text and that will bring you right to the entry screen.
