I used to have the att 8525. I just bought the htc tilt today and i noticed that the new windows mobile 6.1 didn't have the option "Internet sharing" like my 8525. I was wondering if there was a program similar to this or is it on the phone and I dont know about it.

You can download ICS from XDA-Developers. Search for "Internet Sharing CAB" and it should turn up.

Are you certain it's not just "hidden"? It is on many ATT & Verizon phones. In File Explorer check "show system files" and "show hidden files" and look in /Windows to see if it is there. The file should read intshrUI.exe if it shows up. There should also be a intshrUI.lnk file that you should be able to copy to the start menu to put an icon there, but when I tried it in the store I got an "access denied" message. Didn't really wanna fool around too much with a display unit.

AT&T didn't include it at all in their original load according to what I've read (I've got a TyTN II, so no personal experience). But it works fine if it's installed or there.

I just upgraded my tilt to 6.1 and lost my internet sharing too. i looked under Windows and see the program file threre. How do i create a shortcut to the Programs file so i dont have to explor for it. Hope this also answer the question above.

Copy - Paste Shortcut in File Explorer.
