Vista 64, WMDC

I have an AT&T Tilt. I have upgraded 3 pcs to Vista 64 bit - I didn't need to sync with any of them for awhile after conversion since I used Activesync. Now that I want to install some software, I would like to get this to work - on any of the pcs but to no avail - i've tried much of the scenarios that i've been able to find downloaded 64bit WMDC, unistalled the other first, etc... nothing seems to work -
1. does anyone sync via wmdc and a vista 64 bit? If you do, do you also have a Tilt? If so, how did you do it?

Can you step through what you've done? To get it going, I would:

1. Install WMDC.
2. Reboot.
3. Launch WMDC (it doesn't always auto start).
4. Connect phone via USB.

That should pretty much do it under most circumstances. Is that what you've tried?

I tried everything

Then I decided to do a hard-reset of the Tilt. I say this becuase i noticed that after unchecking the USB box on the tilt, it would authenticate, but the PC would not recognize it. So i was thinking i may have installed something that has a firewall/etc.

After the hard reset, everything's fine. So it wasn't the WMDC and Vista 64 after all.
