I searched the forum but can't find anyone with the same problem. I got a new tilt from warranty and tried to restore my sprite backup from my memory card to the new phone. After it came back on I put in my password but it doesn't recognize it. Now all I can do is answer calls. Please help

Can you skip the reboot and go to Settings to turn off the password after you've restored from backup? If not, I'm afraid it's hard reset time, reinstall your apps, and then resync data.
