How many former Sprint 6700 users?

I'm reading more and more posts from former 6700 users like myself. So I thought I'd get a roll call going.

I left mostly because I was dropping calls left and right in my apartment, otherwise I liked Sprint. Of course they were dragging their feet with an 6700 upgrade, wich didn't help them any.

I am very happy about my new toy, Cingular's 8525. (AT&T, whatever! Like talking about Sprint/Nextel)

Next?

I just made to move from my Sprint PPC6700 to Cingulat 8525. The sprint service in my area just seemed to get worse by the week. I have never had so many dropped calls. Also my PPC6700's buttons got hard to press so it was time to make the switch. I also hate the fact that sprint didnt use a sim.Now i have my 8525 for monday-friday and i move the sim to my Razr for weekends.

I made the switch from the verizon XV6700 and so far im loving it. Prior to the 6700 I had the Samsung i730 and OMG the 6700 was a vast improvment over the i730 POS. And now the 8525 is yet another great choice I have made.

Lets get this forum as popular as the 6700 and keep the information/answers coming!

So I ported 2 of my Sprint numbers to Cingular, but forgot about my 3rd one. I got my bill and had a $200 cancelation fee. I called Sprint and got the fee taken off, then proceeded to cancel my Sprint account, but this girl was GOOD, she offered me 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited Power Vision for $40/mo. So I get to keep my EVDO speeds when I need it and have a nice suppliment to my 700 shared minutes through Cingular.

I switched from Verizon for better phones and better data speed... (which is pretty upsetting now that 3G has been crap since the iPhone launch)

But I had a $105+ monthly bill with verizon for over 4 years, and a regular plan for 6 before that...

I had absolutely NO trouble not renewing my contract... they asked why- I said i was sick of waiting for the 6800 and that if I knew when it was coming out that I would stay on- she replied "well those phones are still out being tested, but we have the brand new Motorola Q if you'd like to upgrade?"...

A) this is a bad sign for those still waiting for the xv6800...
B) I think I'm actually a little insulted that they didn't try to keep me. I mean, no late payments for 10 years and they don't even escalate me? Haha, i guess I should be happy!

But I would be happier if Boston's 3G were still working...

I too had the worsed experinece this past year with Sprint (6 years). Turns out the new House I bought sits between 2 Sprint towers (DEAD ZONE). Sprint kept it quite until a level 3 tech slipped up. They waived all cancellation fees for the 5 phones.

I made the move from the 6700-Treo700WX this past Monday. Ported over 5 Lines and bought 5 New Phones:

1. 8525 (will send back in 30days for Kaiser release)

2. Black Pearl

3. Black Pearl

4. Red Pearl

5. Razor 3xxx

Sellimg on Ebay the Mogul 6800, Treoo700wx, Fusica and Treo650

After the dust settles (discounts, rebates, et,) I will make 250.00.

The ATT/Cingular network blows Spint/Verizon out of the water!!!!

I bounce within a call from 3G, E, and H networks with no dropped calls!

Watch slingbox take a call and sling picks back up without a drop!

This used to be how Sprint worked.
