HI I just installed WM6 Black edition on my HTC Cingular 8525 But I have one problem, the keyboards a little messed up. When I try to get the @ symbol on it, it gives me a question mark instead. when I try to get the ? symbol, it gives me the - symbol instead. Keep in mind that im using the actual physical keyboard, not the on screen keyboard. Any help would be g r e a t l y appreciated.

I had the same problem - it's an easy fix with JasJamming's cab from xda-dev. It works perfectly aftter the quick install. (Then reboot for the changes to go into effect)

I found this from XDA-developers, which has all the info you could ever need... it's just really hard to find any of it.

I'd love to see more of a Hermes following on these boards - but they seem to be run more by the CDMA crowd.

Anyway- Isn't WM6 just great though!? The difference between WM2003 and WM5 was huge... but the jump between WM5 and WM6 is even better. Once you fix it- make a donation- his work is on those forums is just amazing.

Or you could do a simple registry change, worked for me.

Funny, I just discovered this very thing, and was about to post something on here. I hardly use my keyboard, but when I did go to use it, I noticed that the special characters were mapped wrong. I guess this is a small hickup with WM6? Anyway, thanks for the regedit info, it worked great. (after the soft reset)
