line splitting down middle of camera

I bought a used 8525 a few months ago and ever since I bought i there is a line down the middle of the camera viewer and when pictures are taken. I cant make it go away even with hard rebooting.

Here is a picture of what I mean.

... bad image sensor, I'm afraid (i.e. the "film" of digital imaging); not too much you can do about that....
