Integrate SPB Mobile Shell and the HTC Home Plugin?

I recently got the Sprint Touch and I love it. The HTC Home Plugin is nice but I like the SPB Mobile Shell better. I would like to combine the two like I did in this Paint mockup attached (Ph34r my Paint Skills).

Is there anyway to do this?

Not sure if you can do that, but you can do it the other way around and put HTC shell inside of Mobile shell, actually works out pretty nicely.

yes, u can do that by modifying the registry of HTC Home Plugin.

HKLM->Software->Microsoft->Today->Items->HTC Home

then change the "Type" from 5 to 4.

Softrest.

After that, you can add HTC Home plugin to SPB Mobile Shell or SPB Pokcet Plus.

I did that ad I got the SPB Mobile Shell plugin to load below the HTC Home Plugin but I still have the four icons below it.

I want those icons to go away! I just want the clock and the notification icons (Email, Text and Missed Calls).

@ Fowen,

I happen to have your solution! I am uploading an rlToday skin which I made which is JUST the clock and indicators from the HTC Home Plugin and you can then place mobile shell directly below rlToday.

If you are not familiar with rlToday I am also posting the latest .CAB for that. Instructions...

If you already have rlToday, skip steps 2 and 3
1. Unzip ModdedTouch.zip
2. Copy rlToday.cab to your device
3. Run/Install rlToday.cab
4. Copy LiquidCrystal.ttf to \Windows\Fonts
5. Copy the folder ModdedTouch into \Program Files\rlToday
6. Goto Today Screen Settings
7. Goto Items and check rlToday
8. Move rlToday above Spb Mobile Shell
8. With rlToday Highlighted click options
9. In the drop down select ModdedTouch
10. Click ok/x until you get yourself to your beautiful SPB Home Plugin

Oh P.S.!! I forgot, youll have to open up the skin.xml file first and change the email account name so that it opens properly when you click the email indicator. change 'frankganz.com' to your account name
Attached Files
File Type: zip ModdedTouch.zip (160.7 KB, 362 views)
