Touch Keyboard Password Layout

So far my favorite keyboard layout is the Touch Keyboard Layout for passwords. Usually this keyboard is a 20key 2 letter per key keyboard. But if you're typing a password, it changes to a large qwerty single letter keyboard. This is the perfect size for fingers.

Is there a regedit change to make this the default, for all text entry? Or a keyboard plugin like it?

i agree but don't think there's a solution yet to make it stay. the best alternative i've found so far is the pcm keyboard with the iPhone skin.

right now pcm keyboard is free and I am really liking it. \
PocketCM Contacts & Keyboard

I have also tried
Welcome to CooTek - TouchPal, an innovative soft keyboard

which I guess works good once you learn how to use it.

Here's what I ended up settling on. It's the best "touch" keyboard available without a password field. Worth the $10.
PocketGear : Spb Full Screen Keyboard

Where were you 3 posts ago.

Are you talking about the trial version, the full or some PocketPC warez site. PM a link, if you have one, there's other spb software that looks cool.

I really want the 40-key touch password keyboard too! But I don't want to lose XT9. XDA has a hack posted to have the 40-key all the time but you lose dictionary and xt9. I CANNOT believe HTC would not have the option to have the choice of the two! Maybe they wanted to give us something to hack? like we wouldn't be able to find things to do haha

I thought sure touch keyboard was the best then PCM then SBP Full keyboard free by the way. Now without a doubt its the new keyboard zoomboard, it cost i thinks like ten bucks but totally worth it in my oppinion. I have yet to make a mistake well maybe one or two. But i can type as fast on it as a qwerty hard button keyboard not necessarily with one hand but certainly way better then any other on screen keyboard. Just google zoomboard....

I don't usually answer/respond to post directly but before I even type one text with zoomboard, I paid for it. As soon as i got it working on my TOUCH! This is exactly what I've been looking for, now if i could get the word suggestion fill in to work, But that's not Zoomboard, Thank you so Much.

i think the reason it really works for me, besides being accurate. I hate xt9 but the autofill on sbp keyboard was fantastic, if those to could merge it would be great. In the end i have a need for speed.

Take a look at this... It might just work for you... It will change the Touch keyboard to the full QWERTY layout (reg hack)

I just installed PCM keyboard. I'm having problems. when I type anything that the program doesn't recognise the letter won't show up. The cursor moves but it leaves blank spaces. The letter will only show up if the program recogniseses the word. I enabled/disabled the recognising option and it does the same thing. Any of you ran into this problem?
