Process of elimination is in your future I can tell you that none of the following apps have caused me any issues:
1. Palm threaded SMS - threads your text messages.
2. Agile Messenger - like Trillian for the PPC. It costs $, but I like it better than the built in app.
3. SOTI Pocket Controller - emulate your phones display on your PC screen, while connected via USB or bluetooth. Allows you to take full control over the PC.
4. MSDict - Dictionary
5. Ewallet - manage passwords, credit card numbers, etc.
6. Opera Mini, using Esmertec midlet manager (search the Mogul forums for more info) - similar functionality to that of the iPhone web browser.
7. Live Search - awesome app for directions, traffic, gas prices, etc.
8. PocketXpdf - better than the Adobe reader
9. Resco Explorer with Registry & FTP add ins - best fire explorer out there, which also includes a registry editor and an FTP client
10. SafeMode - works like windows safe mode on a PC
11. SKtools - 100's of tweaks and utilities. also includes a backup utility.
13. TCPMP - better than built in WM player
14. HiCalc - advanced calculator

I have to say that the contents of this thread are pretty darn mundane...which is a good thing Sigh...still trying to decide if I want to (a) fight for a Mogul/Touch swap and (b)give up the Mogul keyboard. I have devoted myself to using my Mogul in "Touch" mode using the Touch keyboard and keypad to see how it goes. Still working on a verdict.

I'm still having a tough time with the keyboard part, but I love everything else to much to go back.

That's a fairly sizable endorsement...if memory serves you were pretty sold on that Mogul keyboard

Ok the two problems I am continuing to have on my touches -
1) keyboard - will not maintain the desired keyboard, when I go to change keyboards I have to hold the up arrow next to the keyboard for 4-5 secs for it to pop up to select a new keyboard.
2) Memory card issue - somehow the files turn into squares with gibberish next to them. Once the files all got corrupted. Recently problem can be fixed with a soft reset
3) comm manager - on occasion the text turns to gibberish.

Lots of bugs
Hi there, I got the touch the day it came out through Telus Canada and, as seems usual with HTC products, it's full of bugs.
Worst part is that the screen is starting to display dark spots, it's getting worse and worse. Secondly, the window that pops up when there's an incomeing call blanks out the actual number... so much for call display.
Lastly, the phone just gets stuck sometime... it's a great phone but please, get the bugs out.

You know I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of activity in this thread!! J/k
Hey Robsanten - sounds like the store must of dropped yours a few dozen times or you are really an iPhone lover who doesn't own a touch and looking to knock it. (you asked for that for your "as seems usual with HTC products, it's full of bugs" statement, a statement which could apply to every PDA phone out there to some degree)

The d-pad is the little multi-function button under the screen.

NON recognition of installed programs AND on my card
Had my TOUCH for about 3 weeks now. Just last Friday, certain programs I had installed on my card wouldn't operate (programs OR shortcuts). I figured I'd just do a reset - NOTHING. Then, i figured I'd just reinstall them again from my card...NOT! EVERYTHING ON IT WAS GONE! File Explorer recognized my card BUT, with NOTHING on it. I was so ticked off about that crap - I didn't use it the whole weekend! Finally, Monday morning, I picked it up (after I recovered) to decide what I was going to reinstall (again) first and S.O.B, my card had everything BACK!
This isn't the first time my TOUCH didn't recognize things in File Explorer. I'm not sure if this is a sign of future problems or not. But, my intention is to take it back to Sprint ASAP!
Poltergeist? - I think not! Santageist - maybe
Hooyah
Just got it replaced yesterday. Get rid of it? No, I'm still happy with my TOUCH AND its size. I'm pretty confident this problem won't return. I'm surely NOT going to break out the old brick again!
