I had some issues today, my first full day.

I'm not sure of the source. I've let everything install and plan to do alacart later after I play with all the stuff first.

But I like to use iGuidance GPS navagation and often on trip wish to use the phone. It got all boogered up a few times. One time I could not restart iGuidance, tried and tried then suddenly with nothing on the screen it was talking. Then the headset got all wedged and I could not hear an active call on the phone or the headset.

I'm not that concerned yet. Bunch stuff running (HTC Home and TouchFlo for example) is nice to have but I don't consider a requirement. I had tried running the HTC HHome thing on the Mogul and it boogered up that phone too. I really do like it, but it's gotta be stable.

It's gonna take a while to figure out what's causing issues and perhaps the days are numbered on my HBH300 headset. I still love the phone and will some how make it work for me.

Oh I gotta find a way for it to stick with the standard WM keyboard. It changing on context drives me nuts.

Battery did pretty good.

when i added the pictures to my favorite contacts, the pictures seem to appear in low quality... anyway to fix this. the pictures are clear everywhere else but here...

more issues

i notice when i tap the calendar area of appointments on the main screen, it takes me to the next day if thats what appointments are being shown for upcoming. i remember on my prev Pocket PCs. when you touch calendar area, it opens calendar to the current date.

also i mentioned earlier that when i hit the email button on the main screen where it shows how many emails i have, it sometimes opens up to text messaging. it should always go into email. so i have to go right or left to get to email

also i notice now when i go into file explorer, it gets locked up in the windows folder and just shows the windows logo spinning. than the whole device acts crazy.

i wonder if its an app i added in?

What all have you added in so far?

As far as the date goes can not help there. have too many things from day to day. I tried different settings under today/calender/options. Maybe something there can help.

I tried the email button and text buttons and all seemed ok. i even clicked the email button change from email to text from the pull down. Got out of the mail program and clicked the mail button again and all seemed fine.

I noticed that one picture was fine. Clear. The others not so good. Then i noticed that the picture was from a 2 meg picture on my laptop. I wonder if windows is converting the pix to a lower quality. So if you start out with a small pix then it is worst. Not that they are allowing 2 meg pictures. i just dont know what the conversion is.

"internet explorer button on touch flo screen always goes to sprint store as homepage. it doesnt go to the saved homepage i programmed. only from the other ways i get into explorer does the homepage show properly.

Another quick fix till you change the registry:
Open IE, then click menu and home. That will take you to the saved page.

I agree it sucks that it will start at the home page.


IM...i noticed that when its up and running it slows the touch down and runs the battery down. Yesterday i started at 7:30a.m. and did not recharge till midnight. played around with it, bluetooth, tv and all seemed good.

You need to resize the picture to 240x320. Also if you use Inesoft Address Book, there is an excellent contact picture manager that makes the pictures turn out perfectly.

i finslly figured out that when im in the touch keyboard, if i hold down the key with a symbol, it will input it. like the button with "OP" has te perios there. so i hold it for a second and the perios is added. im so happy i figured that out. i was lik, why do i have to go to another page to get period and other often used symbols.

i keep trying it, but when i click on the email button that shows how many email i have, it pops up the text messaging sometimes. from what i see, whatever i was viewing last in the messaging app, that will pop up for the email button. even oin the email icon on the cube. but when i click the sms buttons, they always pull up the text messaging. so weird
