did you have to soft reset it? it would be interesting no what your memory level was sitting at when that happened.

Not sure if it's a bug, but my call/end keys do not work when the screen is off. I have to turn the screen back on to end a call. This wasn't true with the Mogul.

If this is the best we can come up with as far as bugs, I am really impressed with this phone so far.

Got mine yesterday and I still love it...

Yeah no kidding! The 6700 & 6800 had plenty at launch.

Having said that; here's another one I found:

more issues....

battery seems to stink. but it looksl ike it chargers pretty quick. will need extra battery

the keyboard that pops up for passwords doesnt have a enter button on it! like to jump to the next line etc

also the 20 keypad when in t9 input doesnt have an easy period button, must switch to another input method for the period and other freq. used symbols. and when you want a period and you clikc t he sym button, you have to go to second page to get the period!!!

we should be able to choose one keypad we want as a default keypad to pop up in any typing field.

i notice today when i go into file explorer. sometimes it locks up with the little windows logo spinning.

i also notice the htc home page where it shows email, text and missed called buttons. sometimes when i click on email, it pulls up text messaging and i have to go left or right to get to email. makes no sense. the text button always pulls up text screen. but the email button pulls up whichever was used last or something like that.

internet explorer button on touch flo screen always goes to sprint store as homepage. it doesnt go to the saved homepage i programmed. only from the other ways i get into explorer does the homepage show properly.

they shouldve had a small start and ok button at the bottom. maybe make the red and green buttons a little bigger. etc

the weather screen should be able to auto update whenever we want. like every 5 or 10 minutes etc

programmable short cuts for all touch flo pages

and im sure there are more little things i forgot so far or that will pop up soon.

either ay, i still love the phone and im sure it w ill love it more down the road. i just ordered my dual cradle charger and will need extra battery for sure.

Ha ha that's not a bug that's a feature. Go under settings to key lock, it gives you these options:

Lock All buttons execpt power button
lock buttons if device is locked
do not lock buttons

actually my memory was around 50%. I think it is just some software conflicts with the IM software.

--- I have both the 6700 and touch side by side same usage and my batteries are about identical so far.

the keyboard that pops up for passwords doesnt have a enter button on it! like to jump to the next line etc

--- the 20 keypad does have it. you just have to hold down the the op button and it places a period.

we should be able to choose one keypad we want as a default keypad to pop up in any typing field.
--- i agree

i notice today when i go into file explorer. sometimes it locks up with the little windows logo spinning.
---haven't had this problem

--- haven't had this problem. try realigning your screen?

internet explorer button on touch flo screen always goes to sprint store as homepage. it doesnt go to the saved homepage i programmed. only from the other ways i get into explorer does the homepage show properly.
---the 6700 was the sameway, I guess it would require a registry hack??

they shouldve had a small start and ok button at the bottom. maybe make the red and green buttons a little bigger. etc

that's my thoughts on it

I gotta say that coming from the Treo300, 600, 650, ppc660, Mogul and now being touched. These are not too significant. I also wonder why they didn’t add Just two more buttons for Start Menu and whatever. But the beauty of simplicity and less moving parts will also lead to durability. A cube hack cabinet should be available very soon. And I really love how this feels in my hand solid sturdy. Waiting for the first drop from three feet posting.

that's a comment several people have made that held mine, they all say it feels sturdy. I really like the fact that the back cover snaps on and it really holds the sd card in.

I did notice that after my phone updated the instant messaging that it slowed down. In side by side comparision with my other touch.

I was at 50% when mine locked up. I was running Orb, Live Search and using bluetooth GPS at the same time.

Not really impressed with battery life. I had a completely drained battery in six hours. My usage consisted of 20 minutes of video playback, 2 hours of internet use (1 hour of audio streaming), 1 hour of bluetooth use, and 1 hour phone usage.

I've had a couple of lockups.. usually when I'm doing way too much on it... not really lockups more like crashes since things would be happening, it just wouldn't be repsonsive.

It hasn't 'froezen' by itself though like my ppc6700/ppc6800's used to do which is good...

I still prefer Agile Messenger over the OZ app. It just looks better IMHO. The downside is the fee for a lifetime sub is 40.00 compared to the free OZ app.

Had my first DSOD today--had to soft reset. It wasn't running anything, just sitting on my desk (no sync). An announcement came through about my next appointment which I dismissed as it was announcing and everything seemed ok. When I went to use it about a half hour later--DSOD. It's completely stock except for Voice command 1.6, oh and I did insert a ScanDisc 2 mb micro sd this morning. Hmmm, I wonder...

I wonder if someone is going to come out with a program that will just light up the whole screen with a white background and nothing else. At least you can now use the Touch as a small Torch in the dark.
