Bypassing the pin code

I hate to say it but the need to be a nosey parent has come!
My daughter has set a pin or unlock code for her VZW Touch.
I need to get passed it if anyone can help.

Also, on another similar subject, is there a keylogger for cell phones on micro SD card or something along the same lines.

I am not aware of any. If you punch in 3 wrong codes in a row it will lock and have to do a hard reset. From what i have been told even the store techs cannot unlock it. If you call the carrier sometimes the MSL (master lock code) will unlock a phone. Then theres allways the standby of "give me the phone" and dont give it back untill they unlock it . The last thing you can do is do a hard reset to erase everything, put in your own lock code so they cannot put in their own code and this will resolve the issue in the future.

Hope this helps, maybe someone else has a better solution if it doesnt anyone else have any other info?

Well, you could always just play the parent card and tell your daughter she either gives you her PIN or you shut off her service...

There's no program that will blow you past a PIN code once it's enabled, although there are some that will keep it from kicking on. I'm also not aware of key loggers. If you think you need to go to that length, should your daughter have a cell phone?

Not to get political, but the links in your signature sort of contradict what you're asking here...

On topic, Windows Mobile is designed for corporate use, so bypassing the PIN is not an option. Hard reset will do it, but then you'll never know what was on there...
