Hey guys. My Touch started acting funny and not adequately responding to "the touch" (sorry could not resist that one!).
I have a funny small mark on the lcd screen that seems to have been spreading over the last several weeks.
I called Sprint and got the usual will have to look at it.
I tried rebooting it, soft and hard, with no change.
It seems to respond and then does not!
Any thoughts?

im having same issue it just started today. im still under warranty and since they discountinued "the Touch" im going to get it replaced before my warranty is up.

Yeah I had an "oil slick" too so that some parts of the screen were not responding properly as well. Somewhere here in the forum there is a post with the numbers to call. If you're under warranty still, they will replace it, but it will take a while and you can kiss all your customizations and data on the phone good bye.

Sprint gave me a refurbished one because I have insurance on it.

I took it in to a Sprint Center and they replaced the screen for me. Unfortunately, the only replacement screen that they had came off an old one and has a slight scratch on it.

This was under warranty? That's pretty crappy that they use old parts to fix your phone!

They sensed my distate with the new screen and got me a new replacement phone a coupld of days later! Once in a while Sprint Suprises me, and I am glad!

Hmm I am also having some issues?? I wonder if the new Vga is still a bit buggy?? Hey any of you guy's try using the remote desktop feature yet? It seems that the touch software is not functional in remote desktop too..
