I'm a previous i760 owner and had the $45 Unlimted data plan which carried over when I got my XV6900.

After doing some exploring, I noticed on xv6900.com that verizon had lowered the data plan to $29.99/month for certain phones... XV6900 included.

I was wondering if anyone had the unlimited data plan for that price and if will be able to switch.

Yes, that's the price when I got my 6900 about a month ago (29.99). I didn't have a data plan before so can't speak to the hassles of getting the new price applied to your plan but wouldn't think it should be a problem

Actually, if you run SEVEN SEVEN Beta Program: Mobile choose page it will synch with your exchange server's web access and Verizon appears to allow it (at least they haven't cut me off yet) on the $29 plan.

It is a Beta app, and occasionally has issues, so if complete reliability is important, then you do need to stick with the $45 plan and direct connectivity.
