does anyone know how much longer Sprint will continue to sell the original touch?
I need to get my touch replaced because it's falling apart but i'd rather try and hold onto it a little longer in hopes of getting it swapped for the Diamond

If history repeats itself, I'd say about 3-6 months longer. I guess it depends on how much inventory they still have.

Maybe if you get the right CS rep on the phone & voice your dissatisfaction with your less than a year old Touch, maybe they'll heavily discount the Diamond for you.

Well.... I am supposed to be getting my replacement,....meaning refurb..... Touch this week....it has really been acting weird and it's been feeling rather slow. Maybe that oil slick is really getting to it!

It would have been nice to get a Diamond replacement, but then my bigger battery and 8 GB card would have been useless.

Sucky that there won't be a Touch HD for us (America) after all
