Eversince I've upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1, I get about 3-4 crashes a day. I've searched and it doesn't seem like a known issue. I'm ready to switch over to an iPhone . HELP PLEASE! TIA

Did you do a hard reset after you did the update? That's a pretty common procedure. If anything, I'd try that before defecting to the fruity side of smart phones.

Thx, I didn't know about the hard reset. I haven't had a crash in 2 days now.

No problem... I just had to upgrade to 6.1 again too since the refurb phone I got still had 6.0 on it....weird considering that it was refurbished in August.

Was 6.1 every officially released for the Sprint touch?

Yes it was. It's hosted on HTC's website.

now on the htc site its has a date of 08/06/08. my rom says date of 06/30/08 but same rom #..should i update it.

If memory serves me correctly, the ROM update was posted mid-late July. It was then pulled from their site for some reason & then re posted early August. You might consider updating again, in case they fixed a bug or 2, but the ROM date on your phone isn't necessarily going to match the date on the website.
