First, please stop double & triple posting.

Second, on the Sprint Touch the number to dial is #777, which is what it sounds like it is on the Verizon as well (based on your other posts). On the Sprint Touch the username & password field are supposed to blank. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be on the Verizon version, but what message do you see when you leave it this way? Have you tried deleting the connection entirely, and then creating another one?

Sorry for the double post but i couldnt find it once i posted it. i ma noew to this style of forum.

On Verizon the dial is #777 also which sounds weird. I confirmed all setting with Verizion but it still wont connect with EVDO. Its the only thing that dosent work. The error is "Username or Password is incorrect"

I have deleted the setting and generated a new one but the box that has the modem is grayed out. Is there a registry setting to fix this?

Hopefully some Verizon guys will jump in, because I'm not sure how it differs from Sprint.

Edit: I read this over at Boy Genius:

"You have to dial *228 and option 1 after the phone comes back up. If this does not work, which sometimes is the case, you have to cal 1-800-922-0204 from a land line and have a tech walk you through a manual program of your phone. Every time I hard reset I have to go through this drill. For some reason mine wont authenticate on it’s own and this ROM update was no exception."

Is that basically what you've already done?

That is what I have done twice now.

So far I have spent 4.5 hours in tech talk with a level 3 tech at Verizon. His conclusion is that that the phone has had issues from day one. They have advised me to turn it in for replacement and move on with a new phone. That what I am going to do tomorrow and then not do a upgrade and just live with the new phone as is. But I will upgrade to the xv6800 with wifi this time. It just was not ment to be on this phone.

Thanks for your help?
