Weird Backlight problem

My backlight seems to only stay on for a few seconds even if I'm doing something and the battery is at 100%.

This has just started happening in the last couple of weeks.
The backlight setting is set for 5 min when on battery power.

The only thing that changed is I added an Extended battery.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on.

Steve

What phone are we talking about? The PPC-6700 you listed in your profile thingy on the side?

There are TWO timeouts. One for the Processor and one for the backlight. Either Timer will cause the backlight to go out. What are both timers set to?

Both are located in Settings/System

You have "backlight" and the other is "Power"

Hope this helps.
