insurance claim

called lockline about a replacement cause my touch's mini usb input is acting up and they do not have any more touch pros. they offered me a BLACKBERRY 8330 or the htc snap. well i told them that that would not work for me cause i need wifi and a slide out keyboard. they pretty much told me that there is nothing they can do. just wondering if anyone had any input on how i should handle this. shouldn't they offer me a touch pro 2? i have been a customer for over 10yrs. i would be happy with another touch pro. not sure how i should handle this. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

no they can offer you whatever they deem is a suitable replacement.

you have the 7 dollar TEP? i think asurion (spelling?) is handling the replacement now...

go into a local CORP sprint store (not indie store) have them smoke it over and let THEM know you need a physical keyboard. they should have PRO1's in circulation....

you can speak with account services (retentions) and let them know you story and that you are willing to leave if they cant get you another PRO1... they could even possibly pull strings and get you a PRO2 bit you have to stay on them and escalate if needed.
