ActiveSync partially syncs

This is nuts.
I sync wirelessly thru an exchange server.
When I sync my phone (touchpro) my contacts sync, but my email won't. The phone seem to try to sync, but gives up.

How can my contacts sync, but my emails won't?

Faithfully yours
FP

I have had the phone for 6 months. It's been working fine. My certificate is not out of date. About 3 days ago, this problem started. I have not added any software nor applications. I have not deleted any either.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

hmm. well all you can do is check your setting on the PRO and/or ASync to make sure nothing was unchecked accidentally. if all looks good on your end, a call to your IT department is in order...

It's likely that there's a corrupt item in the synchronization queue that's messing things up. There are tools (the ones I know are paid, but there may be free ones out there) to rebuild the sync queue by clearing what's there on the phone now and start from scratch that often clear the problem. MemAid and SKTools both can do this. This may fix your issue.

You may also fix it by deleting the server connection and rebuilding it (free), but this can be a bit of a hassle. You'll lose custom ring tones, etc. when you do this, but it often fixes the issue because it forces the queue to be rebuilt.

I'd try either of those before calling IT. It's likely just ActiveSync being ActiveSync and the server will contain nothing of value in terms of logs, errors, etc.
