Holster always messing up calls....

I was just trying to find a solution to this. I bought the 6800 a few months ago and after a couple of weeks decided to go with the Touch Pro instead. The holster the Verizon rep recommended for the 6800 seems to fit my Touch Pro perfectly, so I've been using that. The problem is almost every time my phone rings when it's in the holster and I go to pick it up, it decides to ignore the call. My best guess is since the touch screen activates when a call is being, it hits the ignore when I take it out. If I'm *very* careful and slowly take it out of the holster everything is fine.

The lock function doesn't come into play when incoming calls are made (and doesn't seem to work very well anyways), so I'm just looking for other suggestions. The Verizon rep said I should have screen facing in as it's less likely to get damaged that way, but I believe that could be the problem?

Also if there a way to program the phone to turn the ringer on silent when in the holster? I noticed that if I hit the standby button on the top it picks up anyways (or perhaps I just hit answer when taking it out to see who called/is calling? lol). Not a massive deal just fairly annoying.

Thanks.

There is a program called Slide to Answer (s2a for short) that solves this issue. It gives you an "iphone-like" slider at the bottom that uses a gesture to answer the call instead of a single button press. It also comes bundled with slide 2 unlock 2 (aka s2u2) which gives you similar functionality with the key and device lock.

I will ad that altho s2u is cool - it slows the phones response some and has had some odd quirks for me across 3 devices~ including even more delayed ring and not allowing me to answer at times G so it is far from a perfect solution.
