Need help setting push email for hotmail account

I tried going through the wizard and it isn't working. What do I put for domain when setting up push email for a hotmail account?

there is two ways to do this, the hard way, and the easy way. There should be a where that you can set it up where it will automatically find all the settings other than your address and password. You can either do this through the windows live program, or by going into the actual messaging program and adding a new account from there.

From the sound of it, it seems like you are trying to add one directly from the TF3D menu?

Yes through the Mail option in the TF3D. I also went into settings --> data --> direct push settings but it isn't working Is there instructions on the net for setting up direct push on the pro? My other option is to go to a Sprint store and have them do it for me. Thanks.

direct push is for microsoft exchange servers, not for simple hotmail.
i have a msn account. the PRO will fill in all of that info for you thru the wizard. you dont need to enter any servers.

sprint wont know anything at the store, you can get all your questions answered here in the comfort of your home.

again i dont use the hotmail side but if you cant get it to work, as indie stated the windows live works just as well...

it does sound like your using the microsoft push email setting instead of going thru the mail setting... again do not use microsoft push at all for hotmail. its not designed for it.

From what I have experienced - Windows Live for Mobile is required now for Hotmail. I used to use the manual settings and on my last several rom flashes they point me to geting Live automatically. Live is easy, has simple sync settings and scheduling. I would suggest using live services for mobile as your client (not to be confused with live search for mobile - great naming scheme MS yet again).

Yes this is the way it DOESN'T set up automatically, you need to either do it through windows live, or through the messaging program. You can reach the messaging program by going to mail on TF3D and then hitting the "Inbox" button, then from there go Tools > New Account.

Well it appears I am getting my HOTMAIL pushed to my phone but not sure how I did it. Where do I go to change the update/sync time? I think it might be on 15 mins but it seems I am getting it IMMEDIATELY.

Thank you! Another question: Ever since I started to sync my hotmail to my phone, my outlook stopped updating my inbox but if I go to hotmail's website, all of my emails are being updated there. Any clue?
