Volume Issues

Hi guys, I am totally new here and new to the ppc world as well. I got a Sprint TP because of all the stuff it can do and... well... I wanted one (grin). I really do love it but I am having an issue that I cannot resolve anywhere, at least not that I can find.

Anyway, it's about the volume. I can change the volume of the applications and the ring tone, no problem there. Even when I am listening to music the volume is easily adjustable. My problem is when I am on a call.

I have tried to do the obvious, up/down on the side rocker while talking, but all it does is bring up the system/ring menu. Even if I do fiddle with those settings while on my call it does not make a difference at all.

Am I just totally clueless and missing something obvious? Or is there a tweak or program (something very easy since I'm not very knowledgeable about ppc's) that I can download for it?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Jenn

The up and down should do the trick while in a call. Is the speaker covered by anything?

No, I made double sure to check for anything covering anything. This happens while on the headset and without it. I'll be on the call and hit the up/down volume buttons to try to change the volume and it goes to the 'system volume' but i don't hear any volume changes with I change it.

make sure the plastic overlay is not on the screen.

can you turn the volume DOWN??? if so then there is probably nothing your doing wrong.

the pro's volume is low even at the highest setting. there is a audio tweak that you can install..its a file.. that will increase the speaker volume.

is your phone brand new-purchased direct from sprint or is it used/second hand?
