Threaded Text Messaging Problems

I don't know if anyone else has run into this problem but when I am texting in the threaded messaging layout if I reply to a text it tells me, "Message sent using invalid number of digits. Please resend using 10 digit number or valid short code. MSG 2114". I am using the 10 digit number and I have also tried adding the "1" in front of the number but that didn't work. Before I call Sprint I would rather ask someone here on this site since I have more faith in you guys then I do Sprint to help me get this resolved.

Thank you in advance.

So then do you think it's just an issue with my phone in particular and I should call sprint? When I text someone back I either have to start a New text for them or tap there name on the threaded list and go to there contact info and send a text from there, which come to think of it is starting a new text. Well if anyone else has this problem I would greatly appreciate some help if not I will contact Sprint.

Thank you.

so this has always happened ever since day one? or did it recently start?

could be an issue on sprints end with your provisioning. i would give them a call and mention the code. also call them sooner rather than later.... you get the best ones earlier in the day...

definately post what they say. also it may take you two calls form two different Reps to get your issue resolved. this phone is still new to some so id wait until around 8am or so to call. do not call at night. calling at night is like those rental cops you see at wally world... just warm bodies to show presence....

Thank you for the tip, I just realized though that it only happens when I'm replying to my wife's text and not anyone else's. I really don't know why that is but I will call them tomorrow and see what they say. I will definitely post the results when I find out.

Sorry for the late post but I never got a chance to call Sprint the next day my threaded messaging was working fine. I guess it was just a hiccupwith my phone and eventually worked it's self out. Thanks again for all the help.
